About Elizabeth

I love seeing ideas become real.

Industrial Design graduate from LAB University of Applied Sciences, with a Diploma in Interior Design from Nairobi Institute of Technology. I am passionate about product design and product development, combining creativity, functionality and user-centred thinking to transform ideas into meaningful, practical solutions.

I have always been drawn to creative spaces and the possibilities of turning ideas into something real. That curiosity led me to product design, where I enjoy understanding how things work, how people interact with them, and how thoughtful design can make experiences simpler, more intuitive and enjoyable.

I enjoy collaborating with others, exploring different perspectives and finding opportunities to improve what already exists.

There is always a story behind every design brief. I love following an idea from its first concept through the challenges, discoveries, surprises and learning that shape it along the way. Watching something once imagined become something real — and sharing the story of how it got there — is one of my favourite parts of being a designer.

Portable Hook

Product design · prototyping · packaging

A plastics manufacturer wanted to create a product of their own, but had no predefined concept. The project began with market and trend research to identify opportunities, followed by the development of multiple product ideas for the client to evaluate. The selected direction was then developed from concept through product design, naming, branding and packaging.

Reusable Bio-Plastic Packaging

User research · circular thinking · product concept

The concept grew directly from user research into how bio-based cutlery was understood and used. Findings showed limited awareness of its reusability and a perception that reuse was inconvenient. This inspired packaging designed to facilitate reuse, educate users and reinforce the sustainable value of bio-based cutlery.

Flat-Pack Phone Sound Amplifier

Physical prototyping · woodworking · 3D printing

A simple flat-pack amplifier designed around easy assembly and portability. The interlocking parts require no glue, screws or permanent fixings, allowing the product to be assembled, dismantled and packed flat. The concept demonstrates how a simple construction idea can create a functional product with minimal components.

Modular Tripod Accessory

Adaptive product concept · modularity · work in progress

Inspired by a practical need in salon work, the concept explores how an existing camera tripod could be repurposed as a mannequin stand. A modular attachment connects the mannequin head to a standard tripod, allowing salon professionals to use an accessible product they may already own instead of purchasing a dedicated stand. The project is currently in development, with the attachment being designed and prototyped to explore its fit, stability, usability and connection to different tripods.

Design principle: Adapt what already exists rather than redesigning the whole product.

Branding Design Studio

Visual communication · exhibition · campaign design

The challenge was to make a highly technical shipbuilding concept feel more accessible, engaging and relatable to a diverse network of partner companies. Inspired by retro halftone graphics, raster textures and bold geometric forms, the visual language softened the technical character while retaining a professional corporate identity.
